The House of Luminary

A Lifetime in Fine Jewellery

From a childhood spent in one of Britain’s oldest family jewellers to 17 years working with the world’s leading luxury Maisons at Harrods, fine jewellery has always been part of Simon Davis’s life.

Today, that experience shapes Luminary: a modern fine jewellery house built on knowledge, trust and a deeply personal approach.

Where It Began

A Heritage of Expertise

Simon grew up in Bristol, where his father ran Parsons, the city’s oldest jeweller, founded in 1710. Time spent helping in the family business gave him an early understanding of craftsmanship, provenance and the qualities that make a piece truly exceptional.

After beginning his professional career at Selfridges, Simon joined Harrods, where he spent 17 years working with some of the world’s most celebrated jewellery and watch houses. For the final 11 years, he was Boutique Director for Boucheron, advising international clients and collectors on exceptional high jewellery.

The Beginning of Luminary

Expertise Made Personal

Working privately and by appointment, he brings together heritage expertise, international market knowledge and a trusted global network. Whether helping a client discover a signed piece, source something rare, create a bespoke design, remodel an heirloom or sell exceptional jewellery, Simon guides every journey personally.

At its heart, Luminary is luxury without intimidation: considered, discreet and built around lasting relationships.

“Jewellery marks life’s most important moments. Being trusted with that is something I never take lightly.”

— Simon Davis, Founder of Luminary Fine Jewellery
